So why have a Video anyway?
Good Question – Many people consider why and with budgets often tight it’s often something that is forgone, so we thought a few comments from Brides and Grooms over the years might help offer some reasons as to why you should just go for it!
Rings, photos and your film are often the only things that last beyond the big day, these memories are worth investing in.
Your day will be so full of everything that watching it back afterwards allows you to see bits you may have missed, think of all that time you’re busy posing for pics, what do you think your friends are doing at this time? Making their own fun of course, with it on film you’ll get to relive all of their fun and excitement too.
So why not just have Uncle Geoff do it? Well, why not! Your friends will certainly be on their best behaviour when a suited stranger is near, so getting your loved ones to capture the day always adds an element that can’t be captured by a professional, these are the moments that are totally natural and unique to your day, but…! Do consider the editing itself, if you want something that is professionally edited then that’s where we can help, we also offer your relatives and guests advice and support in gaining those great shots. We’ve the knowledge and know-how to add a helping hand to get the best out of your venue and party!
Sounds obvious, but videos capture the voices and movement of people, as well as the atmosphere. Imagine showing your children in the future or looking back over it on Anniversaries. One of the loveliest things I heard someone say of a film was that they’d watched it back with their son, he’d never seen or heard his grandparents, but there they were on the tv laughing, full of love and having a great time at their daughter’s Wedding. This really struck me, but it’s so true.
Food for thought. Feel free to get in touch to chat through anything at all, if it involves cake then all the better xx
